Long Gui Qigong
The way of the Dragon-Turtle

Qigong encompasses a wealth of systems, each with its own focus and approach to cultivating Qi (life energy), enhancing health, and supporting spiritual depth. The ultimate goal is always the same: to harmonize body, mind, and energy to achieve vitality, balance, and inner growth.

Within our school, we teach the Dragon-Turtle Qigong system, known in Chinese as Long Gui. This system is unique, versatile, and comprehensive. It draws from various ancient traditions, bringing them together into one powerful whole. Long Gui Qigong combines elements from Buddhist Qigong, Daoist Qigong, and Medical Qigong, and is enriched by influences from Eastern martial arts and mysticism.

What characterizes this system is its modular structure. It consists of several smaller systems that complement each other and together form a complete path of development. Components include Daoist yoga, breathing techniques, meditations, dynamic and static Qigong, and Nei Gong training.

The mythical Dragon-Turtle symbolizes the essence of this path. The dragon represents expansion, activity, power, and flexibility, while the turtle stands for stability, groundedness, calmness, and inner wisdom. In Long Gui Qigong, practitioners learn to balance these seemingly opposing forces, creating a powerful alchemical process of transformation on a physical, energetic, and spiritual level.

The ultimate goal of Long Gui Qigong is to open a lifelong path of vitality, inner growth, and spiritual deepening, a path of transformation that continually brings the body, mind, and energy into greater harmony.
