The Ancient Art of Qigong

Discover the ancient art of Qigong and how it can bring about a transformation in mind, body, and spirit. Rooted in China’s ancient traditions, Qigong is a movement art where gentle motions, breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation come together. Its purpose is to cultivate vital energy, create harmony in mind, body and spirit, enhance heart-awareness and deepen our knowledge of who we are. Whether you seek improved health, a stronger energy body, mental clarity, or a deeper connection with yourself, Qigong offers a timeless path to self-discovery, compassion, and holistic well-being. Join us to explore the transformative wisdom of Qigong and embark on your journey toward greater vitality, balance, and inner peace.

Long Gui Qigong

Qigong encompasses a wide variety of systems, each with its unique focus and approach to cultivate Qi (vital energy), improve health, and foster spiritual growth. Each Qigong system offers its own method to achieve the same fundamental goal: harmonizing mind, body, and spirit to realize health, vitality, and balance. Our school teaches the Dragon-Turtle Qigong system.

The Dragon-Turtle Qigong system, known as Long Gui in Chinese, is a unique, comprehensive, and multifaceted practice that blends various ancient traditions, each contributing to the richness and depth of the system. Rooted in a fusion of traditions and lineages, Long Gui Qigong contains elements of Buddhist Qigong, Taoist Qigong, and medical Qigong, along with Feng Shou Kung Fu, East Javanese Pencak Silat, and broader Eastern mysticism.

The Long Gui Qigong system focuses on working with the principles of Yang and Yin and their expressions in body, breath, energy, and awareness to promote a robust energy cultivation process. This system is characterized by its modular structure and extensive scope, comprising smaller subsystems, each contributing uniquely to the overall cultivation process. These components include Taoist Yoga, breathing exercises, meditations, dynamic Qigong, static Qigong and Nei Gong,

Long Gui Qigong teaches practitioners to harmonize contrasting but complementary forces. The active, expansive energy of the Dragon is balanced with the still, internal power of the Turtle. This balance supports a powerful alchemical development of mind, body, and spirit.
